Well, it goes without saying, since my imood indicator states it - I finally finished the model. I can safely say that Dawn Awakening from Dracolair creations is a most gorgeous dragon. And perhaps I'll link up a pic shortly...

I stayed up waaaaay too late last night making sure the piece was washed and properly pressed, and then wrapped it up to bring with me to work today to show a couple of interested folks. And then I got a phone call from home. A made DH call and ask where the dragon was since it wasn't in sight this morning, and my lap stand was standing empty... and the Q-snap frame was in pieces. And the mesh baggie with the pattern and supplies were gone too. So my children worried that the dragon had run off in the night.

I assured them, of course, that they would get to see the dragon before he was handed over to the designer and was closing up the phone call since I had my 1 on 1 with my boss coming up in less than an hour... and A unexpectedly, out of nowhere, tells me "I love you Mommy"... which prompts B to pipe up with it too. They silenced me. And then I told them I loved them too. *warm fuzzy feelings abound*

So... on a favorite local radio station, it's New Releases Thursday (KFOG.com) and they're teasing me, saying that they'll play cuts from thier new Live from the Archives 10 album... they did this for a great part of the morning (which was absolute tortune) until they finally played 3 cuts in a row from the album. Which is worth buying for the live Coldplay cut of 'Clocks'. The album is worthy of buying anyway, since the proceeds benefit Bay Area Food Banks... And they generally sell out within about 2 days. The thing that's killing me is that this is the first time that they've previewed the album BEFORE it's gone on sale. It's not available until Nov 15. And it's at Wal-Mart. Ick.

Ah well, it's definitely worth buying. A good cause, and good music. And therefore, even though I'm about to sit through an hour long meeting, and then rush to get lunch and drive to another location for a 3 hour training session on Lotus Notes, it's a GREAT day...

...a model done... an "I love you" from my kids... a good 1 on 1... new Live from the Archives music... It doesn't get much better than this....

Oh Wait, yes it does. They're about to play 3 more tracks from the album right now. *sits back happily to listen*
