It's the Friday Five...

...No, it's not back, but I found a whole bunch of old ones, and I think I'm going to use them once in a while, when I'm not Daydreaming on Paper, or doing something else random.

1. If your life were a movie, what would the title be?
The Last Sarcastic Girl....
Too Smart For Her Own Good...
But I Digress... (that would be the title, folks, I'm not digressing on a point yet)

2. What songs would be on the soundtrack?
Marillion's 'Kayleigh', Asia's 'Days Like These', Bill Champlin's "Fly by the Light", Rockapella's "People Change"

3. Would it be a live-action film or animated? Why?
Live-action. Definitely. This would be a comedy-drama. Most likely a relationship piece.

4. Casting: who would play you, members of your family, friends, etc?
Good question... me? I'd love Jennifer Garner to play me, but I'm not cute or thin enough to be her. But we don't have to typecast, do we? Whooboy... friends and family, I honestly don't know... It would be a HUGE ensemble cast though - just to cover DH's siblings and thier spouses alone.

5. Describe the trailer
Picture a dumpy 15 year old girl in braces, glasses and mousey long brown hair tied back in a braid... narrator's voice: "Annie was just your normal average teenager... crushing on a football player (show a second string linebacker who's sort of cute) who knew she was alive when it was convenient for him... had good friends who helped her through it, sort of (show a group of people all more attractive than subject of film sitting around on some stairs with subject near the top right hand of the group) who drifted away inexplicably (show them vanishing one by one until they're gone)... and vowed to never fall in love (show subject stating emphatically, as only a teen girl can, "I'm NEVER going to fall in love".
Black screen with words in bright purple: 3 years later... show 18 year old, no braces, no glasses, shorter hair, thinner and a little more athletic, prettier hand in hand with a college student 3 years her senior, both clearly in love... then her crying when he breaks up with her on a cold late November day...
Black screen with words in bright blue: 1 year after that... show 19 year old woman in tie dye shirt and shorts slipping on a staircase to fall backwards into the arms of a green eyed, wavy haired guy who happened to be behind her at just the right moment.... then a shot of her roller blading backwards while he skates forward to catch up with her... then her watching an airplane fly away at an international gate as one tear finally rolls down her face...
Black screen with words in flaming red: 1 year after *that*... show her college roommate's brother helping said roommate move in... and a date with the brother.... and then a ring... then a wedding...
Black screen, white words: 10 years after high school, she's back... show confident woman walking into party in little black velvet dress and roommate's brother standing right beside her.... words come back up "...and just look at her now..." Rest of movie tells what changed her mind... who, how and why and how that helped her find her way back to who she really was again.
