...It's Friday (yay!) and it's time again for the SBQ. This week's question:
What tips would you give to a new stitcher to help her stitch faster and neater while still keeping it enjoyable?
Very good question. And one that's hard to answer, in a manner of speaking. Everyone has different stitching styles and methods that they employ, and they're personal to the stitcher. What works for one might not work for someone else.
So my advice is to practice a lot and try out different methods - stitching all of one color first, or stitching all the blends and confetti first, or working from one corner to another, or starting in the middle.
I've used all of these methods at one point or another and they all work for me depending on the design, because I spend a little time reading the chart to figure out what method is going to work the best for me and for the design.
So practice, don't be afraid to try something new and really don't be afraid to ask someone questions. There's no dumb question, and believe me whatever you're going to ask, someone probably already has (so you're not alone)
That's it for today everyone. Have a great weekend!
