What's Bringing People Here...
...It's time, once again, for another blog where I muse about the search terms that bring people to this blog. And there have been some interesting ones. By the way, mouthcam has just gotten more and more popular of a search to hit my blog. And the more I keep mentioning it, the more hits I will get from it. Maybe I should stop mentioning that one.

waterman rollerball sucks - Ok, I can't see how anyone who has a Waterman rollerball pen would think that it sucks, but to each their own. I *love* my Waterman rollerball (I've had it for 13 years and counting)...

Peter Cetera leaves Chicago - I knew that one entry I wrote about all the dissention on the fan boards about Chicago and the changes over the years would start leading people here... But I expected to see more Chicago searches leading here.

halloween toni basil costume - Well, apparently that wasn't a one off choice when I mentioned it last time, and people are still looking for that overly made up, too old to be a cheerleader, maybe we're playing grownup dress up games costume.

"silence method" selection - Do I want to know? *does quick Google search* Lots of things about adaptive technology, so that's not so bad...

inanimate object halloween costume - Ok, why do people do things like this? How do you just come up with something like that. As if there's a specific object entitled 'inanimate object' that would have a costume. Well, actually... there sort of is...

"Dr. Wally World" - Well, someone else thinks like I do...

how to deal with overprotective parents eldest daughter - Oh, I could write a whole blog on how to deal with the eldest daughter of overprotective parents. Makes me wonder if it's some poor guy who is looking for advice on how not to get shot by the dad or insulted by the mom. Here's a quick primer - if the problem lies with the parents being overprotective of a seemingly normal daughter, then keep supporting the girl until she can get out on her own. If the problem seems to be the daughter not knowing how to spread her wings and fly because she's been sheltered her whole life, then help her learn to be normal. If she's like me and is resentful of the parents, the overprotection and watching all her friends do normal things (like go to the movies in groups, or the mall or sleepovers, etc) then I suggest you help her figure out how to change her name and move far far away where they won't find her and continue to exert control. Sometimes I wish I'd moved to the other side of the country...

"buggie Plans" - Ok, I'll bite. Are these plans for executing bugs, or plans to build up more bugs? And are they bugs of the insect type, or the software type?

California Missions 4th grade - Oh yeah, I remember that blog entry... and the subsequent destruction of said mission...

court fight a whiter shade verdict - that wasn't that long ago - nice to see that Google is indexing me quickly.

"Statistical Techniques in Business and Economics answers" - hm... looks like someone might be trying to get a leg up on something.

rudolph, dasher, dancer, prancer, vixen, comet, cupid, donder, and blitzen pictures - Well, 'tis the season.

Santa complaining about milk and cookies voice mail - I can't imagine what this would do to bakers and children everywhere if they got a voicemail from Santa complaining about the cookies and milk. We leave Santa perfectly baked cookies every year. From scratch. Not 'from a package scratch' like a lot of people think scratch baking is these days. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there's something wonderful about the alchemy of sugar and butter and flour and flavor getting mixed together and pulled out of the oven as some wonderful concoction. Oh yes, I love my baking (did a lot of it this weekend and am subjecting my co-workers to it all this morning).

skewered, one sympathizes i don't get it - well, clearly, if you didn't get it then you weren't paying attention while watching "Casino Royale". And if you haven't seen it then you *wouldn't* get it. Run, don't walk, and go see this movie.

So, that's it from me today, other than to mention that they've found the body of one of the Oregon climbers that I mentioned in Friday's post. He died alone in a snow cave at the top of a mountain. I can only surmise that it was a lonely and torturous way to die. May he find peace and comfort now.
